Dr Mirosław Jakubów

Dr Miroslaw Jakubow graduated from Wroclaw Medical University in 1995. In order to obtain relevant practical experience, he worked first in The Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Urban Hospital in Lubin, then, at Specialist Hospital in Legnica. At the same time, he was an assistant, and next, an advanced assistant at MIEDZIOWE Healthcare Centre in Lubin.

He completed his specialist training in 1999 and gained further specialist training in gynaecology and obstetrics in 2004. He moved to the UK and between 2005 and 2007 worked at Abbey King’s Park Hospital in Stirling, and later, at the hospital in Darlington gaining a wealth of professional experience.

Dr Jakubow has been working in Ireland since 2008 providing outpatient care services. In Poland he works for INVICTA Fertility Clinic in Wroclaw. His main interest lies in gynaecological endocrinology. In 2012 Dr Jakubow completed subspecialty certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Dr Jakubow has got a certificate issued by the Ultrasound Section of the Polish Gynaecological Society to perform ultrasound scanning in gynaecology and obstetrics. He has also obtained the Fetal Medicine Foundation certificate of competence in the 11-13 weeks scan. Dr Jakubow performs 3D and 4D ultrasound scans.
